Originally from the Great White North of Canada, I have been drawing
pictures and creating imaginary posters for my sisters' private performances
since I was small. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts (Painting
and Drawing) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. A lucky
summer job led to full time employment once I had my degree, and I stayed
for four eye-opening years as a Media Designer at the University of
Michigan School of Education at U of M. Since then I have decided to
follow my own dreams of doing illustration and design freelance, as
well as putting some time and effort in to my true love, comic books.
I work with the philosophy that all art is a form of communication,
one to be heard and understood on both subtle and immediate levels.
I believe in simplicity and usability as well as elegance in design,
rather than something that is pure glitter and little content. I would
love to be able to take these concepts and make them work for your challenges.
My freelance rates are $30/hr, or a per job flat fee can be arranged
depending on the project.
